Depending on the person. I eat a bar or a smoothie, about 1 hour before training. Clif bars are good! If I am not weak to begin shortly. After training, eat something with more protein than most energy bars. Is between 30 minutes and 2 hours after exercise when your body process proteins effectively the muscles to repair just met with. You need a mix of carbohydrates and proteins. Your body needs energy, build muscle (from carbohydrates) and protein to build with. About 20 grams of protein should be good. Your body can not be more than a meal and enjoy using this fact. Thus, a loss is to eat 40 or 50 grams of protein in a meal because the body can not process too quickly.

Certainly, when you do not want to cramp while you work. If you do not get so hungry during your workout, you can not concentrate, eat 2 hours before exercise.
